Not that this will help. But it is not easy… I used to work installing inground pools and I am good with concrete, we always contracted out any stamped concrete. I have watched 100’s of hours of these guys doing it and it still to this day amazes me. You might want to check out other options as I fear you wont be successful your first time.
CCG is right. Its an arse of a job. Leave it to the pro’s.

I agree with all the above. I did some checking and found that it’s a job for professionals. I talked with Lowes and Home Depot, they both tried to sell me a book. After looking over the book I decided it was a huge/hard job. But if you want go buy the book, maybe even your local library would carry something on it. Best of Luck – can’t say you haven’t been warned!! lol
Check out concrete network. Go to a class with Surecrete Design, or any of the decorative concrete manufactures. Or if you are in FL you can come work with us sometime. It is back braking labor, but it is beautiful when its done! I really would recommend working with someone who does this well, there are lots of very little tricks and techniques to learn that they just do not teach you in the class. Check out websites of decorative concrete contractors to see who does the best work in your area.
