I assume the 2250 is your price?
Well you need 1.8m3 of Concrete. But what are you pouring it on, Just ground?
You will need a base of some stone firstly and need to dig down say 6 to get a good base.
You will also need a plate compactor/whacker plate. Tampers to level the concrete.
Contact a few labourers, Concrete plants and stone plant to see their rates and prices for materials and labour.
Do it your self, really whats stopping you?
Just get the stuff to do it and do it.
where i live, a pour of that size would cost no more than 1500 , no matter what the circumstances were…
$2250 does seem a very little high (but you are in San Diego). I would shop around on this. Luckily, you cant screw that up to bad so paying for talent may not be necessary.
If you want to see how that patio will look before you put it in, you might try WowMyLandscape.com. This site allows you to look at many different landscape renderings of your house before you lift a shovel (or in this case, before you lay concrete).
